It took thirty days, but we finally got wet. It was raining at dawn and just kept on throughout the morning. In Southern California, we don't get many chances to ride all day in the rain when the temps are in the mid to high 70s. It was wet, but it was warm.
Tomorrow we ride the last "official century" of the tour.
Now that i've seen you with a shower cap on your head, I don't think I will ever be able to take you seriously again!
ReplyDeleteSorry you got wet, but at least it was warmer than the Grand Fondo debacle.
Rode with David and Jim today around the peninsula. It was nice to have some company out there, but tough to keep up with Jim who is a powerhouse!
Will let you know how I did in the PVEast Time Trials once results are posted. Was huffing and puffing and wishing I had some "Greg Legs" under me.
Rain? Who did something bad to screw up XC10's Karma? Just think of it as liquid sunshine.
ReplyDeleteRobert and I had a wonderful morning ride on the peninsula. It was partly cloudy, cool, and NO RAIN!
Robert lies; he's the one with legs of steel. I need a nap.
If all the rain drops were lolli pops and gum drops.
ReplyDeleteoh what a world this would be.
I'd ride my bike with my mouth open wide.
awe, awe, awe, awe...
Jim,
ReplyDeleteyou lie. you are a powerhouse.
